Called & Chosen Crewneck

Peter, an apostle of Jesus Christ, writes in 1 Peter that we are CALLED & CHOSEN. What does this mean? How should we live in light of this?

“But as the One Who CALLED you is holy, you yourselves also be holy in all your conduct.” (1 Peter 1:15) Therefore be holy in every department of your lives, for the One Who has called you is Himself holy, and His Spirit within you will guide you and sanctify you into holiness. 

You are CHOSEN according to the will of God the Father (1 Peter 1:15). Be encouraged, Child of God! What LOVE the Father has for us His children! His plans are for our good and for His glory! Paul says in Ephesians 1:4, “God has CHOSEN us in Christ before the foundation of the world!!” (Why?) That we should be holy and blameless before him
